A video shared on Facebook allegedly shows Philadelphia Eagles fans chanting “F–k Joe Biden” during an Oct. 17 football game against the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field.

Verdict: False

The video has been digitally edited. The original video shows First Lady Dr. Jill Biden leading the Eagles’ fight song.

Fact Check:

Only 33 percent of registered voters said they’d re-elect President Biden, including 20 percent of democrats in the poll suggesting they would “vote for someone else,” according to a recent poll from Fox News. Another poll appeared to show the GOP held big leads on key economic issues, such as inflation, as the midterms approached, CNBC reported.

The Facebook video, which shows the First Lady standing on the field, appears to show Eagles fans engaging in an explicit chant aimed at the current president. “Eagles fans chant ‘F–k Joe Biden,'” the video’s caption reads.

The video has been digitally edited. The original clip, which was posted to the National Football League (NFL) ‘s verified Twitter page, shows the First Lady standing on the field alongside a group of cancer survivors singing the Eagles’ fight song, “Fly Eagles Fly.”

“Philly’s own @FLOTUS stands along cancer survivors to lead the “Fly Eagles Fly” fight song before #DALvsPHI. #CrucialCatch,” the tweet’s caption reads. The game, nicknamed “Crucial Catch” by the NFL and the American Cancer Society, focused on “promoting early [cancer] detection and risk reduction,” according to The Hill.

Although the clip of the explicit chant was edited, the First Lady was allegedly greeted by fans booing her, according to Fox News. A video shared on Twitter by Insider Paper also appeared to show fans booing the First Lady, with one woman exclaiming “let’s go Brandon.” (RELATED: Did A Mobil Gas Station Put Up Signs That Say ‘F*** Joe Biden’?)

Check Your Fact has contacted Eagles and White House spokespersons for comment and will update this piece accordingly if one is received.

This is not the first time an edited video including such a chant has circulated on social media. Check Your Fact recently debunked a claim suggesting President Joe Biden had been heckled while attending the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
