FACT CHECK: Image Of Ivanka Trump And Husband Standing Next To Bone Saws On Walls Is Edited

A photo shared on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, allegedly shows former White House advisor Jared Kushner and his wife, Ivanka Trump, former President Donald Trump’s daughter, in a room with bone saws hung on the wall. 

Verdict: False

The image is photoshopped. The original was posted by Ivanka and does not show any saws on the wall.

Fact Check:

After her father’s fourth indictment, Ivanka Trump and Kushner have been described as seeming as “carefree” with little worry about the former President going to prison, a source told People Magazine. Trump and her younger sister, Tiffany, have bonded over their father’s indictment and the nations “hatred” of them, according to Yahoo.

The X post purports Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, have bone saws in their living room. The photo shows the two in formal wear with their children playing nearby and two bone saws on display on the walls.

“Look very closely around this picture, what do you notice?” the caption reads.

The photo is not legitimate, however. The unedited image was originally posted to X by Trump and the walls behind them are bare, there are no bone saws on display. Star Wars actor Mark Hamill slammed Ivanka Trump for being “a fraud,” as her son is wearing a stormtrooper outfit in the image, Daily Mail reported. 

Check Your Fact found what appears to be the first iteration of the image. In a reply, the user who posted said, “I photoshopped it. It seems like something they would do.”

Another user replied to the post saying, “This looks heavily Photoshopped. The bonesaws look highly out of resolution,” to which the poster said, “Correct.” (RELATED: Did Jared Kushner Delete All Of His Tweets After The New York Times Story On Donald Trump’s Tax Returns?)
