A video shared on X, formerly Twitter, allegedly shows people chanting “fuck Joe Biden” at an Army-Navy football game.

Verdict: False

The video has been digitally altered. In the original footage, no such chants can be heard.

Fact Check:

President Joe Biden’s approval rating has hit a new low ahead of his 2024 run, data from analysis website FiveThirtyEight shows, according to Newsweek. The polls found that just over 37 percent of voters approve of how Biden has been handling his presidency since being elected in 2020, the outlet reported.

An X post purports sports fans chanted an anti-Biden chant. The video appears to show a crowd at a football game jumping up and down and rhythmically chanting “fuck Joe Biden” as a drum is heard in the background.

“Ya ears are hearing you correct ‘Fuck Joe Biden’ being cheered at the Army Navy game,” the post reads. “There’s no way Joe Biden wins re-election unless they cheat for him.”

The video is digitally altered, however. The original video was posted to X by Barstool Sports and does not have “fuck Joe Biden” chants. Instead, the crowd is singing along to the beat of a song without lyrics. An additional X user also posted the unedited footage.

There are no credible news reports about the alleged chants. (RELATED: Does This Video Show A Crowd At Metlife Stadium Chanting ‘F*** Joe Biden’)
