FACT CHECK: No, This Image Does Not Show Travis Kelce With A ‘Trump Won’ Shirt

A photo shared on X allegedly shows musician Taylor Swift alongside her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who is wearing a shirt that reads, “Trump won.”

Verdict: False

The photo has been digitally altered. The original image shows Kelce wearing a plain T-shirt.

Fact Check:

Kylie Kelce, who is married to Travis Kelce’s brother, Jason, recently expressed support for Swift’s relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end saying, “if Trav’s happy, we’re happy,” Newsweek reported. Actor Rob Reiner has voiced his wish for Swift to endorse President Joe Biden in the 2024 election, saying it would “save American Democracy,” New York Post reported.

An X photo allegedly shows Kelce wearing a shirt in support of Trump. In the image, Kelce and Swift are seen walking while holding hands. Kelce’s shirt appears to have the words “Trump Won” in large lettering.

The photo has been digitally altered, however. The unedited image was posted by Entertainment Tonight, which shows Kelce with a plain white T-shirt. It was also posted by Elle. There are no credible news reports about Kelce wearing the pro-Trump shirt.

The account that posted the claim, @PapiTrumpo, indicates in its bio that it posts “a little bit of parody.” Check Your Fact debunked this account in the past when it posted an image allegedly showing Swift with a “Trump won” flag on the red carpet.

This claim was also debunked by Snopes. (RELATED: Does This Image Show Taylor Swift With A ‘Trump Won’ Flag?)

Check Your Fact reached out to a Kelce spokesperson for comment and will update this piece accordingly if one is received.
