The image is digitally edited and stems from an account that posts satirical content, according to Lead Stories.

Fact Check:

The Supreme Court recently declined to hear an appeal from Lindell, who claimed “his rights were violated when Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents seized his phone in 2022,” according to USA Today. Lindell’s phone was confiscated by the agents while he was on his way home from a hunting trip, the outlet reported.

“Meeting Mike Lindell at the Waukesha Trump Rally must’ve been what it was like to shake hands with the Apostle Paul before Christ took the stage at the sermon on the mound [sic],” the X image’s caption reads. The image, viewed nearly six million times as of writing, shows a man posing for a photo with Lindell at a recent Trump rally in Waukesha, Wisconsin. In the photo, Lindell appears haggard, and dark circles can be seen under his eyes.

The claim is false. The image is digitally edited and stems from an account that posts satirical content, according to Lead Stories. The outlet contacted the social media user who posted the digitally edited version of the image, who confirmed it had been altered.

Likewise, in the original version of the image, also shared on X by the Devil’s Advocates Radio, Lindell does not appear haggard and there are no dark circles under his eyes.
