The claim is false. The purported remark is not referenced on Woods’ website or on his verified social media accounts, and there is no other evidence suggesting he made the remark.
Fact Check:
Harris leads Trump 50% to 46% among “all adults and registered voters,” according to a recent ABC News/Ipsos poll, the outlet reported. Harris also leads black voters with 82% among all adults compared to Trump’s 15% for the same demographic, the outlet indicated.
The Threads image, which has been viewed over 3,000 times as of writing, claims Woods purportedly said Harris’ “fake black accent” is “embarrassing.” The image features side-by-side photos of Woods and Harris followed by the purported quote attributed to Woods, which reads, “Kamala’s fake black accent is embarrassing and extremely offensive.” The image does not provide a source to support its claim.
The claim is false. An advanced search of Woods’ verified X account @TigerWoods does not generate the purported remark. The claim also is not referenced on Woods’ official website or his verified Facebook and Instagram accounts.

In addition, Check Your Fact found no credible news reports to suggest Woods made the purported remark. Actually, the opposite is true. On September 6, USA Today reported the claim was false. Besides USA Today, Snopes and PolitiFact also debunked the claim.
According to Snopes, the claim originated via the American Liberty Facebook page, which is described as being “a subsidiary of the [America’s Last Line of Defense or ALLOD] network of trollery.”
