Fact Check:
Combs’ mother made a statement shared on social media regarding her son’s arrest, which was shared by a law firm retained by her, CNN reported. A post shared on Facebook purports singer Taylor Swift unfollowed all accounts on Twitter after Comb’s arrest. The post shared the information in text with an emoji resembling feces and one of a face with raised brows.
The post reads, “Taylor Swift unfollows everyone on X (Twitter) after Diddy’s arrest…. Why? Idk if anyone is following this crazy 💩, but 😳.”
The claim is inaccurate. Swift currently does not follow anyone on X, but an archived version of her account in May shows she has not been following any account for months. Her accounts on TikTok and Instagram also do not follow any other accounts. Her Facebook account only follows four accounts and they are all brands.
