The image has been altered to include Harris’ face. The original image depicts a woman named Suzanne Bernier.

Fact Check:

Harris first mentioned that she had an alleged employment history with the McDonald’s Corporation during her 2020 run in the Democratic presidential primary, according to Newsweek. Harris’ claim has sparked a still ongoing debate among voters regarding whether or not Harris actually worked at a McDonald’s.

Social media users are claiming to depict a younger Harris in a McDonald’s uniform. One user wrote, “Here is Kamala in her McDonalds uniform.” (RELATED: Did McDonald’s Make An Official Statement Regarding Harris’ Previous Employment?)

The claim is false. The uploaded image has been altered to include Harris’ face. The original image shows a woman named Suzanne Bernier. Check Your Fact used the image uploaded to X to conduct a reverse image search and found multiple side-by-side comparisons of the altered photo against the original photo.

Bernier was a “swing” manager at McDonald’s, according to the family website. She is dead, per the family website. Multiple news outlets have reported on the fake viral photo. For example, both The Times of India and the New York Post reported that social media users were sharing the photoshopped image.
