Fact Check:
President-Elect Donald Trump filed an amicus brief Thursday to stop President Joe Biden’s reported sale of border wall construction materials, labeling the action as “possibly criminal,” according to Fox News. The brief indicates that if the sale of the materials is deliberate, the Biden administration may be engaging in criminal behavior, such as a “conspiracy to defraud the United States,” the outlet reported.
The X post claims U.S. Marines purportedly stopped contractors from selling border wall construction materials. According to the same post, U.S. Marines were purportedly assigned to Nogales, Arizona where they engaged in an hour-long nonviolent standoff with the contractors. The post also claims the Biden administration had previously hired the contractors to remove the border wall near Nogales, Tucson, and Three Points.
