The photo was posted to the Neoliberal sub-Reddit a year ago. There is no evidence suggesting the photo shows Hale’s bedroom.
Three children and three adults were killed Monday during a shooting at the Covenant School in Nashville, according to The Associated Press. Hale, the alleged shooter, supposedly sent a message to a friend via Instagram saying she “planned to die today,” USA Today reported.
The Twitter post appears to show a messy room, attributed to Hale, littered with trash, while multiple flags are hung on the walls.
“Shooter had NAFO, trans, and socialist flags Targeted Christian school Hmmm,” text above the photo reads. “Transgender Audrey Hale’s residence. Nothing to see here huh? Mentally stable person’s home,” additional text below the photo continues.
The claim is false. The photo was posted to the Neoliberal sub-Reddit a year ago. “Okey guys, whose room is this,” text above the photo, which has garnered over 100 comments at the time of publication, reads. The LGBTQ+ pride, socialist, and NATO flags can be seen hanging on the yellow walls of the bedroom.
Another photo of what appears to be the same room was posted to the Neckbeard Nests sub-Reddit three years ago. Although the photo is taken from a different angle, a transgender pride flag can be seen hanging on a yellow wall in the background.
