A video shared on social media purportedly shows a recent video of former President Donald Trump calling the Clinton family criminals.

Verdict: False

This caption is inaccurate. The video dates back to 2016.

Fact Check:

Trump’s Presidential campaign has claimed to have raised $6.5 million since his indictment in Miami federal court on Tuesday, The Hill reported.  Trump raised $2 million at a fundraiser held in New Jersey just after his court appearance and is said to have raised another $4.5 million online.

The Facebook post purports Trump recently verbally attacked former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The video features Gary Franchi, the creator Next News Now, a conservative news network.

“BAM TRUMP JUST ATTACKED THE CLINTONS IN THE WORST WAY IMAGINABLE,” the caption reads. “LISTEN TO WHAT HE JUST SAID.”

The claim is inaccurate. There is no credible news report that suggests that this video is recent. Check Your Fact conducted research that revealed the same video featuring the commentators introduction to the clip was posted to YouTube 6 years ago. (RELATED: No, Trump Did Not Save Children From Sex Trafficking In Underground Tunnels In New York)

Trump made this speech during the 2016 Presidential election at a rally in West Palm Beach Florida. He responded to various claims of sexual harassment toward women. Trump claimed that these allegations were lies that the Clintons perpetuated saying, “the Clintons are criminals remember that.”

This is not the first time a misinformation has been shared online. Check Your Fact recently debunked a video that purportedly showed footage of a pro-Trump protest outside the Miami courthouse.
