A photo shared on X, the website formerly known as Twitter, allegedly shows a photo of former President Donald Trump alongside conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer.

Verdict: False

The original image was posted by Loomer and only shows the top half of the image. The bottom half is digitally fabricated.

Fact Check:

Trump recently praised Loomer, telling her, “You are a very opinionated lady, I have to tell you. And in my opinion, I like that,” according to The Guardian. Loomer posted photos to X of her spending time with Trump at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey over the weekend, Fox News reports.

An X photo appears to show Loomer alongside Trump, who looks larger than usual. “Trump looks like he’s giving Laura Loomer a side quest to rescue his frog son from the pond,” the post reads.

The image is digitally altered, however. The photo was originally posted to X by Loomer, but only shows the top half of the image. “Today was the best day of my life. I got to spend the entire day with the greatest President our country has ever had: DONALD J TRUMP!” the post reads in part.

In two follow-up post, the X user clarified that the image has been photoshopped and that he “saw it somewhere and copied it, in the grand tradition of online.” Check Your Fact could not identify the original source, but it was also posted to the subreddit r/WhitePeopleTwitter.
