The video is digitally fabricated. The original video, posted by Variety, does not show Swift holding anything.

Swift announced her upcoming album “The Tortured Poets Department” after she won her 13th Grammy Sunday night, according to USA Today. Her album “Midnights” won album of the year, making her the first artist to win the award four times, Today reported.

An X video shows Swift wearing a flowing white dress as a man with a lanyard helps lay a long piece out for her on the red carpet. She appears to be holding up a flag that says “TRUMP WON DEMOCRATS CHEATED!” In the background, shouts of “Taylor” and “to your right” can be heard.

The account, with the display name “il Donaldo Trumpo,” captioned the post “AWWW… THANK YOU!!!”

The photo has been digitally altered, however. On X, it has an indicator that reads “Stay informed Manipulated media.” The original video was posted to X by Variety and does not show Swift holding anything, but instead posing with one hand on her hip. (RELATED: Does This Image Show Taylor Swift With A ‘Trump Won’ Flag?)

The claim was also debunked by Snopes.
