The video is digitally edited and was originally shared by social media user @DamonImani, who is known for creating satirical content. The original video of the segment does not feature anyone interrupting Jean-Pierre.

Jean-Pierre recently labeled online videos of President Joe Biden appearing to wander around or look confused as “cheap fakes,” according to The Hill. The White House Press Secretary also said the videos were spread by “right-wing critics of the president,” the outlet reported.
The Instagram video, which has received over 2,000 likes as of writing, purports to show a man interrupting Jean-Pierre during an appearance on “The View.” The clip opens with Jean-Pierre discussing gas prices when a man dressed in a suit and tie appears to interrupt her.
The man tells Jean-Pierre she said “a lot of nonsense” accompanied by “persuasive hand gestures” to make herself seem “credible.” The man’s comment was made in response to Jean-Pierre claiming the U.S. was in an “economic tailspin” when Biden took office in January 2021.
The video is digitally edited and was originally shared by social media user @DamonImani, who is known for creating satirical content. Imani posted the digitally edited video clip to his Instagram account on December 7, 2023.
Likewise, the original video of the segment does not feature anyone interrupting Jean-Pierre.
In addition, Check Your Fact found no credible news reports to support the claim. Actually, the opposite is true. On June 21, Politifact reported the video was digitally edited.
