A post made on X claims investigative journalist and political activist Laura Loomer wore a pro-Hitler shirt. The caption reads, “This is Loomer.” The attached image depicts Loomer holding a megaphone while wearing a black T-shirt that reads, “Hitler Did Nothing Wrong!”
The claim is false. The uploaded image has been altered. The original image depicts Loomer with a shirt that reads, “Donald Trump Did Nothing Wrong!” No credible sources have reported that Loomer ever wore a “Hitler Did Nothing Wrong!” shirt. In March, Loomer made a post on X that includes a video of herself wearing the “Donald Trump Did Nothing Wrong!” shirt. The caption reads, “You won’t believe what just happened to me when I went to Starbucks wearing my DONALD TRUMP DID NOTHING WRONG SHIRT today. 😄”
Check Your Fact conducted a reverse image search using the altered image and found multiple images of Loomer wearing the “Donald Trump Did Nothing Wrong!” shirt. The original photo belongs to Sipa USA and its description reads, “Activist Laura Loomer rally’s for Trump. Former President Trump Arraignment at Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. United States Federal Courthouse in Miami, Florida USA on June 13, 2023. ”
