FACT CHECK: Did Donald Trump Post An Image Of Himself In Ronald McDonald Makeup?

Joseph Casieri | Fact Check Reporter

A post shared on social media purportedly shows a screenshot of former President Donald Trump’s social media account featuring an image of himself in clown makeup.

Verdict: False

Trump never posted the image.

Fact Check:

Trump canceled an event with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. today which was supposed to give Kennedy Jr. the opportunity to speak about his support of Trump, according to Politico. The virtual event was also supposed to feature Rep. Tulsi Gabbard and was previously rescheduled due to Hurricane Milton, the outlet reported.

A post shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, purports Trump made a social media post that shows an image of himself wearing clown makeup. The makeup in the photo greatly resembles that of Ronald McDonald.

The alleged caption reads, “whoever made this is getting deported.”

The claim is inaccurate. The post allegedly shows a screenshot of a Trump social media post, however, there is no record of this post on any of Trump social media accounts. The image appears to date back to a 2020 reddit thread.
