The claim is false. Video of Trumpās recent campaign rally at Madison Square Garden shows he wore a blue suit, red tie, and no hat.

The X post, which has been viewed over 600,000 times as of writing, claims Trump wore āProud Boys black and goldā at his recent Madison Square Garden campaign rally.

The post includes a photo of Trump wearing black and gold attire, including his signature āMake America Great Againā hat alongside a photo of a member of the Proud Boys wearing a black and gold shirt.
The claim is false, however. Video of Trumpās recent campaign rally at Madison Square Garden shows him wearing a blue suit and a red tie, but no hat. Trump enters the venue after being introduced by his wife and former First Lady Melania Trump at the videoās 2:15:42 timestamp.
Likewise, the former Republican President and 2024 candidate does not appear to have publicly commented on the claim via his official campaign website, his TRUTH Social account, or his verified social media accounts.

Although the claim is false, Trump did wear black and gold attire at an Oct. 25 campaign rally in Traverse City, Michigan, video of the event shows.
