A post shared on social media purportedly shows a video of people chanting former President Donald Trump’s name at a rally for Vice President Kamala Harris.

Verdict: False
The claim is inaccurate.
Fact Check:
A crowd at a Trump rally in Georgia chanted “lock her up” when Trump told them to her that she is “fired,” The New York Post reported. Trump told the audience to “be nice” and went on to talk about the chant’s origin and its pertinence to Hilary Clinton, saying that he “could’ve locked her up,” according to the outlet.
A post shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, allegedly shows people sharing their support for Trump at a Harris rally. The video shows a woman in a pink top telling the camera that Harris was “heckled” before showing the alleged occurrence.
The caption reads, “Kamala gets irate that ppl were chanting Donald Trump at her Detroit rally. She went back to her condescending phrase ‘I’m talking right now.’ This egotistical narcissistic liar believes she outranks us in the human order. Someone tell this b!t€h we aren’t in her courtroom.”
The claim is inaccurate. There is no credible news report that suggests that this video showed protesters supporting chanting Trump’s name at this event. The video was posted on a parody account of Amit Shah, an Indian politician. The account’s bio reads, “not the original Amit Shah ( Parody Account). fan of him.”

The original video showed Harris responding to pro-Palestine protesters. Harris commented on their chant saying, “You know what? If you want Donald Trump to win, then say that. Otherwise, I’m speaking,” USA Today reported. The protesters were reported as saying, “Kamala, Kamala, you can’t hide! We won’t vote for genocide.” (RELATED: No, DNC Attendees Did Not Chant ‘Death To America’ During Michelle Obama’s Speech)
