Fact Check:
A post made on Threads claims that rapper Vanilla Ice joined singer Kid Rock for a ‘Woke is Whack’ tour. The caption reads, “Vanilla Ice and Kid Rock’s ‘Woke is Whack’ Tour Leaves Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in the Dust….”
The claim is false. There is no evidence that proves this tour exists. The ‘Woke is Whack’ tour does not exist as a tour on Kid Rock’s website. (RELATED: No, Kid Rock Did Not Bring ‘Millions In Supplies’ To North Carolina After Hurricane Helene)
The claim appears to have originated as satire. Satirical website Esspots published a story titled “Vanilla Ice and Kid Rock Join Forces for ‘Woke is Whack’ Fall US Tour.” The story contains a disclaimer that reads, “NOTE: This is SATIRE, it’s not True.”
The satire reads, “Vanilla Ice and Kid Rock, are joining forces for a tour that promises to be as controversial as it is nostalgic. Dubbed the “Woke is Whack” Fall US Tour, this dynamic duo is hitting the road to perform their biggest hits and, of course, share their thoughts on what they see as the epidemic of “wokeness” taking over America.”
The satire claims that Vanilla Ice and Kid Rock have created a new song titled “Whack Attack” that will debut on the tour. There is no evidence that shows Vanilla Ice and Kid Rock plan to release a song titled “Whack Attack.”
