A post shared on social media purportedly shows a video of a massive flood that occurred in Spain recently.

Clay Aiken and Tyler Hubbard are set to perform during a hurricane relief benefit broadcast, CBS News reported. The event will benefit Hurricane Helene and Milton relief efforts and will also feature appearances by many celebrities, like the Zac Brown Band and Kelsea Ballerini.

A post shared on Facebook purportedly shows an intense scene of a car drifting down a flooded street in Spain. The video shows a woman reaching out of a car as water rushes by.

The caption reads, “People cling desperately to their car roofs as severe floods sweep them away.”

The claim is inaccurate. The video appears to date back to July 2023 in Spain, according to a local news outlet. The Guardian also reported on the incident and shared more videos of the event.

Alcañiz received over one inch of rain in just 10 minutes and caused roadblocks, Watchers.News reported. Crops in several locations were damaged by hail and six people rescued from vehicles and trees were sent to the hospital, according to the outlet.
