The Department of Government Efficiency, a new department President-elect Donald Trump said will in part “restructure Federal Agencies,” will be headed by Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, CNN reported. Trump claimed this department will effect “anyone involved in Government waste,” Ramaswamy has previously suggested eliminating several federal agencies including the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, according to the outlet.

A post shared on X claimed that Musk has banned DreamWorks from the platform for their political comments and views. The post shared an image of Musk and one of the DreamWorks’ logo with several of the studio’s characters surrounding it.

The caption reads, “Elon Musk Bans DreamWorks Animation Permanently from X for Promoting Pride: ‘It’s Extremely Woke.’”

The claim is inaccurate. There is no credible news report that suggests Musk banned the film studio from posting on X. The claim appears to stem from a satirical news outlet called Esspots.com. The article offers no sources for the claim
