Talk show host Oprah Winfrey denied she was paid $1 million to host a Harris campaign event, according to The Independent. Winfrey’s denial comes amid claims that Democratic leaders will be left with “a big bill” from the Harris campaign, “which is likely to end [in] millions of dollars in debt,” Axios reported.

The Facebook image purports to show Clinton and Harris sitting together after the 2024 election results. The post does not include a source to support its claim. In the image, Clinton is wearing a light-colored jacket, a black shirt, and dark pants, while Harris is wearing a dark suit.

The claim is false. The image does not show Clinton and Harris on Election Night 2024 but at a November 2022 campaign event in support of Hochul. A video thumbnail included in a Spectrum News/NY 1 article about the event shows Clinton and Harris are wearing the same outfits as seen in the Facebook image.

The photo of Clinton and Harris at Hochul’s campaign event also appeared in a November 2022 article from The Associated Press.

Likewise, Clinton does not appear to have publicly commented on the claim via her website or her verified social media accounts. Harris does not appear to have publicly commented on the claim, either.

In addition, Check Your Fact found no credible news reports to support the claim. Actually, the opposite is true. On Nov. 8, Lead Stories debunked the claim. The outlet referenced the same Spectrum News/NY 1 article showing Clinton and Harris at the 2022 campaign event in support of Hochul.
