Former President Barack Obama has been at the forefront of many conspiracy theories since he entered office, which may have led some Americans to support President-elect Donald Trump, according to Salon. Many of these conspiracies accused Obama of being anti-American, some conspiracies even involved his wife, Michelle, the outlet reported.
A post on X claims to have unearthed video proof that Barack Obama participated in illegal acts, and was instrumental in covering up crimes supposedly committed by late financier Jeffrey Epstein and entertainer Diddy, real name Sean Combs. It also claims that there are more tapes hidden in the “blue silo.”
The video, hosted on Rumble by user “MattWallace,” starts with black and white footage of a younger Obama socializing with friends, before showing a clip of him scratching his neck and implying he was “tweaking,” meaning having a reaction to illicit drug use. The two plus minute video goes on to talk about Obama’s cigarette addiction before ending with current footage of him along with suggestions that his visible aging is due to drug use.
None of the accusations in this video have any merit. The X post is clickbait, and meant to draw viewers to the Rumble video for engagement purposes.
There is no footage seen in the Rumble video that shows Obama doing anything illegal or nefarious, nor is there evidence that footage of this nature exists elsewhere. The scenes shown do not prove he was intoxicated. His cigarette addiction has been widely documented for years, and his current appearance is the result of simply aging, not drug abuse.
