Less harsh winds have made it possible for firefighters to more easily fight the fires, AcuWeather reported. There was no major fire outbreak in Los Angeles on Wednesday and most of the red flag fire warnings have expired.

A post shared on Threads purportedly shows a massive tornado in California. The image shows two tornadoes in the distance with a bit of fire at the base of one.

The caption reads, “Did you know that Cali gets fire tornadoes?! These two were outside the EatonFire.”

The claim is inaccurate. The video dates back to Aug. 2024. The video was taken in Wyoming and an image incident was posted on the local Clearmont Fire District Facebook account.
