A post shared on X claims to show what happened when the BBC failed to cut off the mics of a reporter after he reported on the Zelenskyy-Trump meeting in the White House.

Verdict: False

The clip has been dubbed over with artificial intelligence. The original video does not have this audio.

Fact Check:

Social media users are claiming to show a BBC reporter saying “f-ck” after reporting on the Zelenskyy-Trump Oval Office meeting. One user wrote, “Amazing things happen when the BBC forgets to cut its reporter’s feed while covering the Trump-Zelensky fiasco.”

This claim is false. Through a reverse image search, Check Your Fact found that the video has been dubbed over by artificial intelligence. The original video does not have the audio.

James Waterhouse, the correspondent in the video, also debunked the claim in a tweet. (RELATED: No, Gene Hackman Did Not Post About The Epstein List Before His Death)

“There’s AI-generated clip of me doing the rounds – for those who believed it – you can watch the original feed from 7:20 here,” he tweeted, linking to the original video.
