Geoff Ingersoll: Editor-in-Chief, The Daily Caller

Ingersoll graduated from Penn State in 2004. After enlisting in the Marine Corps. in 2005, he deployed twice to Iraq, once to the DMZ in South Korea, and won several journalism awards. Geoff attended graduate journalism school at NYU, then embedded with Marines in Afghanistan. Before joining The Daily Caller in 2017, he served as the defense editor for Military, Defense, Foreign Policy at Business Insider, the managing editor of Marine Corps Times, and the managing editor of The Daily Caller News Foundation. You can find his work highlighted in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, MSNBC, Salon, New York Daily News, CNN and many others. He is hopelessly addicted to the news.

Brad Sylvester: Managing Editor, Check Your Fact

Sylvester is a Massachusetts native who joined the Daily Caller in 2021. A Fordham University graduate, he previously wrote for the Daily Caller News Foundation, the New York political magazine City & State and The Fordham Ram. Outside of work, Brad is a die-hard New England Patriots fan who loves the outdoors.

Jesse Stiller: Editor, Check Your Fact

Stiller joined Check Your Fact as an editor in January 2022. He graduated from the College of New Jersey in December 2020 and has previously worked for Campus Reform, The Western Journal and served as the Nation and World editor for his school newspaper, The Signal.

Trevor Schakohl: Reporter

Schakohl grew up in Seattle and graduated from George Washington University in May 2019 with a B.A. in Political Communication. In college, he interned at the Laura Ingraham Radio Show and the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation. He joined Check Your Fact in June 2019.

Elias Atienza: Reporter

Atienza grew up in California and graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a B.A in History. Before joining Check Your Fact, he served as the opinion editor for his college newspaper and interned at the Daily Caller News Foundation and the Santa Barbara News-Press through the National Journalism Center. He joined Check Your Fact in October 2019.

Jonathan Fonti: Reporter

Fonti grew up in California and graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a B.A. in Political Science and History. Outside of work, Jonathan is an avid reader of classical literature and spends time outdoors. He is also a big fan of watching hockey and baseball. During his time off, he enjoys playing golf and tennis.

Hannah Hudnall: Reporter

Hudnall grew up in Illinois and graduated from Miami University with a B.A. in International Studies. During college, she interned at Show Me Integrity and the Japan America Society of Chicago, regularly writing up policy proposals for her classes. She joined Check Your Fact in September 2019.

Max Asher Kirsch: Editor, Check Your Fact

Max “Asher” Kirsch grew up in the Little Rock, AR area. He attended college at both The New School and Arizona State University, where he graduated with a B.A. degree in Film and Media Studies. Asher is currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Journalism at New York University. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching films, reading and traveling.

Anna Mock: Reporter

Mock grew up in South Carolina and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Journalism. During her time in college, she served as Copy Desk Chief for The Daily Gamecock and a reporter for Carolina News. She joined Check Your Fact in April 2022.

Morgan Johnson: Data Entry Assistant

Morgan was born and raised in central Florida. She started her career in research and moderation in 2018 as an internet research analyst at Wonder. In 2019, she moved on to a rater position at Lionbridge. She joined the Check Your Fact team in February 2022.
