A post made on X claims former President Donald Trump had a 1.28 GPA while attending Fordham University.

Verdict: False
A Fordham spokesperson stated that the shared image is forgery. No credible sources have reported on this claim.

Fact Check:

Former President Donald Trump attended Fordham College at Rose Hill for two years as an undergraduate student. A post made on X claims to show Trump’s transcript with a 1.28 GPA. The caption reads, “Ummm… who’s not very smart,
@realDonaldTrump.”

The claim is false. A Fordham University spokesperson told Check Your Fact that the shared image is a false transcript. The spokesperson stated, “The image is a forgery, not an actual Fordham University transcript. Fordham University respects the privacy of its students and alumni, and follows federal law regarding the handling and release of academic records.”

Trump’s records have never been made public. Releasing Trump’s transcripts would be a violation of federal student privacy laws. (RELATED: Donald Trump Claims Kamala Harris Never Passed Her Bar Exam)

The address listed on the forged transcript is inaccurate. The Jamaica Estates (Queens) address was only Trump’s home for the first four years of his life. There are no credible reports that show Trump lived at this same address while enrolled at Fordham.

No credible sources have reported that the former president had a 1.28 GPA. Check Your Fact has reached out to Fordham University and Trump’s communications team for comment.
