A video shared on Facebook purports Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has removed President Joe Biden from Office in anticipation of a Democratic loss in the 2022 midterms.

There is no evidence that Pelosi has removed Biden from office. Some articles of impeachment have been introduced, but have failed to gain any traction.

Biden recently claimed the world faced “Armageddon” over the Russia-Ukraine crisis, stating nuclear rhetoric had reached a point not seen “since Kennedy and the Cuban missile crisis,” according to The Guardian. The president also recently condemned recent strikes on Ukraine from Russian missiles while reinforcing his support of Ukraine, saying he would stand by the nation “for as long as it takes,” The Hill reported.

The Facebook video, viewed over 15,000 times, claims Pelosi recently oversaw the removal of Biden as president, though it does not specify what exactly occured. “Watch Pelosi Removes Biden From Wh After ‘2022 Losing’ Result…Trump Locks Her For ‘S.Tock’ Cheat,” the video’s caption reads. (RELATED: Does This Video Show Ted Cruz Saying He Has Documents That Would Implicate Adam Schiff?)

The caption is baseless. Pelosi has not mentioned any such claim on her verified social media accounts. Biden also has not made mention of this on his verified Twitter account. Likewise, there has not been any press releases from either of them nor have there been any credible news reports suggesting Biden has been ousted.

The video is also irrelevant to the caption. The clip in the video from an episode of “Dick Morris Democracy” on Newsmax.  Morris interviewed Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano, discussing several topics and covered other stories. At no point was there a report of Biden’s removal from office.

Biden has been the target of impeachment talks from Republicans, including nine separate articles being filed since his inauguration in January 2021, according to Newsweek. Other cabinet members, including Vice President Kamala Harris, have been the target of impeachment as well, the outlet reported.
