FACT CHECK: Did Tim Pool Blame ‘Woke Agenda’ For Ending His Sex Life?

An image shared on social media purportedly shows a Fox News interview with podcaster Tim Pool blaming the woke agenda for ending his sex life.

 Verdict: False

The image is digitally altered. There is no evidence that Pool made this statement.

Fact Check:

Dominion Voting Systems, an election tech company, has filed a $1.6 billion lawsuit against Fox for defamation and reportedly puts the company “in real legal jeopardy,” according to NPR. The lawsuit and other details entailed have sparked calls from Democrats to “black out” the network, Politico reported.

The Facebook post purports Pool blames the “woke agenda” for ending his sex life. The post shares an alleged photo of Pool speaking on Fox News with the chyron, “’Woke’ agenda ended my sex life.”

“So… Fox News anchors have been told they are not allowed to report on the explosive Dominion lawsuit against them (according to their own anchor Howard Kurtz, on Monday, when he told his viewers he’d like to tell them about it, but has been told not to),” the caption reads. “So instead, here is the important news Fox is covering in prime time.”

The image is altered. The still is from an Aug. 2021 interview that Pool did with Fox News Prime Time. The screenshot was also altered to make Pool larger than he appears in the video. In the original video, Pool discussed the Chicago Crime wave and COVID-19 mandates, with a chyron repeating the topic.

There is no credible news report that suggests Fox News aired this chyron. The post appears to have originated on an Aug. 2022 Reddit thread that was meant as a joke. (RELATED: Did Glenn Youngkin Clear The Way For Police To Seek Menstrual Histories?)

Pool responded sarcastically to the Lincoln Project after they shared the image on twitter. “After deciding to vote for Biden 2024 I lost 30 pounds and began having lots of sex,” Pool said. “Thanks Lincoln Project. Find out how voting Blue no matter who will make you hot and get you laid.”

This is not the first time a satirical post has been shared online as real. Check Your Fact recently debunked a claim that Edward Snowden revealed an HAARP global assassination agenda.
