FACT CHECK: Did Kid Rock And Jason Aldean Drop New York From Their Tour?

A post shared on social media claims musicians Kid Rock and Jason Aldean dropped New York from their “You Can’t Cancel America” tour.

Verdict: False

There is no evidence for this claim. The claim originated from a satirical website.

Fact Check:

Trump faces a $354 million judgment alongside $99 million in interest in New York, adding to a list of legal defeats in the state, according to CBS News.

Social media users are claiming that Rock and Aldean removed New York from their “You can’t cancel America” tour. One user wrote, “MAGA: Kid Rock and Jason Aldean just announced they will cancel New York from their ‘You can’t cancel America’ tour.”

This claim appears to be false. Check Your Fact could not find any media outlets reporting this. Aldean and Rock are headlining the “Rock The Country” tour, which does not include New York.

The claim appears to have originated from an article on the Dunning-Kruger Times, a satire website. At the bottom of the page, it reads, “Paid Liberal Trolls of America. Nothing on this page is real.”

The Dunning-Kruger Times about page reads, “Dunning-Kruger-Times.com is a subsidiary of the ‘America’s Last Line of Defense’ network of parody, satire, and tomfoolery, or as Snopes called it before they lost their war on satire: Junk News.” (RELATED: Does This Video Show The Pope Discussing His ‘Secret Agenda’?)
