A video shared on X claims to show a first-person view (FPV) drone hitting Israeli troops eating dinner.

Verdict: False

The video shows two different events. One part of the video is from 2022 and is not related to any current fighting and the other is from the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Fact Check:

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for a drone strike that targeted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s vacation home in northern Israel, according to Al-Jazeera. (RELATED: No, Video Does Not Show Su-24 Shot Down By F-16)

Social media users are claiming to show an FPV drone hitting Israeli troops eating dinner. One user wrote, “Another beautiful video for you guys…How was dinner ZIONISTS.”

This claim is false. The first video shows Muslim Israeli troops eating dinner during Ramadan, according to the video description. The video is also from April 2022, which was two years ago, and is not related to any current fighting in the Levant.

Ramadan breakfast in a military manner with Muslim soldiers in the #Gaza envelopment area, where the IDF provides them with breakfast and maintains their Islamic religious rituals,” reads the video description.

The second video is from September 2023 and was taken in Ukraine. The video reportedly shows a Russian FPV drone hitting a Ukrainian position in the city of Krasnohorivka, according to AFP Fact Check.

Check Your Fact could not find any instances of Hamas using FPV drones, though it has used suicide drones and drones to drop grenades in fighting against Israel.
