Fact Check:

Social media users are claiming that the DOJ found at least 300 cases of voting for money schemes. One user wrote, “There have been more than 300 cases of massive ballot fraud for money during early voting for U.S. presidential candidates.”

This claim is false. No credible news outlets have reported on any such claims. The DOJ has not published any news statements or released any videos about the alleged voter fraud scheme. (RELATED: Did Trump Say He Would Change The Oil Used For Fryers During His Visit To McDonald’s?)

Eliot Higgins, the founder and creative director of Bellingcat, also debunked the claim on Twitter and noted it was being boosted, indicating “inauthentic engagement.”
